I’m excited about the gameplay with how familiar it is. I never played BT3 when it was out, but from playing it this year, I love the fast pace which is maintained in the sequel. And the What if is gonna be legit

I'm looking forward to the full roster. I really hope to see some OG ball characters like possibly kid goku & demon king piccolo. And i would be fine if GT & movies arent base roster. This game better have my buuccolo in this game (he's not in a single dragon ball game to my knowledge)

Although you’ve got similar characters and versions, they all feel distinct from each other. Like they’ve gone out their way to make each Kamehameha animation unique from each other.
Plus the fact that every characters attack animations have been cooked… like Burter or Gero’s ultimates 😎
Btw for me I actually don’t mind going back through the same Z story each time - with a different art style and technology it keeps it fresh. Although I’m psyched for the “what ifs” too 👌🏼

Yea I agree I really do like how they’ve made each version of a character different.
I also don’t really mind going through the story every new game either but I know a lot of people don’t like that 🤷🏿‍♂️

We’re going to need fully fleshed out cutscenes in story mode. Imagine being able to watch ~22 hrs of pure cinema with this kind of animation? Slideshows, and voiceovers over the gameplay in story mode will get boring really quick. But Let the gameplay have a gorgeous story cutscene around, then you have an unparalleled game that kakarot, Xenoverse, and FighterZ cannot compete with.

Yea those are definitely going to be the most popular! I hope they capitalize on the fact that people won’t just want multiplayer content and make the what if’s and other single player content worth it!

I disagree with ya'll on the story mode. Tenkaichi as a series has focused on retelling toriyama's story in one way or another, some better than others. Everyone complains about how its always just raditz too buu, but imo dragon balls story is so good when it comes to tension, escalating stakes, along with its many other good qualities, but mainly how easily digestible it is. I hope the "what if" scenarios will scratch that itch of wanting to see something different.
